BHM 2016

As February rolls through, so does Nike's Black History Month releases. This year features the Roshe Run, AF1 High, and the Air Jordan 1. Patterned with African-Inspired "Woven", each silhouette has different off settings of swoosh and accents.

When creating our socks for these releases, we wanted to make sure you could rock 'em with any of the silhouettes offered, as well as on their own for a funky accent to your outfit of the day!

We took the inspiration from the tiny detailing in the African-Inspired patterns to create the "Woven" BHM full print sock. All-over blocked pattern to create a clean and well-put-together full print sock.

The second sock we are releasing is the "Stitch" full print sock. It features our own rendition of the African-Inspired pattern that's displayed on the Nike BHM release.

We got super messy with the Air Jordan 1 BHM16 sock. Features Zig Zag uniformed brush strokes, multicolored for to represent the many cultures and people the African American have inspired. We've also mixed in a little white stroking to pick up on the sole of the other variation of the AJ1.

We are excited to be involved in the BHM lifestyle and contribute to Sneaker fashion.  Stay up with us for more sock releases and how and why we design them!
